The United States Embassy in Morocco and the Anoual association are organizing, on the weekend of August 19, 20 and 21, the closing ceremony of the 4th edition of the “DigiGirlz Mentorship” program, which educates thousands of girls in the field of technology.
The program launched in January 2022, for the benefit of more than 500 participants, aims to stimulate the spirit of technological innovation among Moroccan girls, to promote scientific education and to highlight women’s skills in the field of technology.
The participants of this edition benefited from a series of workshops and online and face-to-face training, particularly concerning personal and professional development, financial aspects, and marketing and sales strategies.
During the three days of the camp, the participants will benefit from theoretical training and practical workshops on several themes, such as a networking session, an elevator pitch, a discussion on incubation opportunities… These training courses represent an accompaniment on girls’ own IT projects.
Afterwards, the participants will have the opportunity to pitch their projects in front of a professional jury made up of experts in entrepreneurship, to select the three best who will receive prizes.
To date, the “DigiGirlz Mentorship” program has been able to raise awareness of more than 1,500 young girls in the technological field, through its various editions, throughout the national territory, thus strengthening the positioning of the Anoual association and the United States Embassy as innovative organizations and privileged partners of young people, to support them in their momentum and help them bring their ideas to life.
