The Kia XCeed gets a refreshed design, improved technology and a sporty GT-Line finish

2022 Kia Xceed

To pay homage to its success, the XCeed received a facelift for 2022: bold exterior design, modern interior and a new GT-Line finish. These new features highlight the XCeed in the popular C-segment of crossovers.

The XCeed is characterized by a range of competitive engines, with mild hybrid versions, plug-in hybrids.

The XCeed Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) offers an all-electric range of up to 48 kilometres, equivalent to 60 kilometers of city driving.

Pairing GT-Line sports equipment with a 204hp petrol engine for the first time delivers a dynamic and exhilarating driving experience without compromising on style or sportiness.

The Kia XCeed features new LED headlights, a redesigned grille and an innovative bumper, with the air intakes now featuring an innovative design. By creatively integrating fog lamps with the headlights, designers were able to include air curtains on either side, helping guide air smoothly around the wheels, reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency.

Refinements to the rear include a new diffuser with a gloss black skid plate and more discreet lines around the exhaust. The complete Xceed range thus displays a new sporty look.

Depending on the level of equipment, the new Kia XCeed is offered with up to 12 different colors, of which three stand out: Lemon Splash, Celadon Spirit Green and Yuca Steel Grey.

The interior is dressed entirely in soft-touch materials, with chrome instrument panel trim further enhancing the refined, upscale ambience of the package. For the seats, there is a choice of upholstery in fabric, suede, synthetic leather or genuine leather.

The interior also gets a GT-Line touch that matches the sporty exterior look. These include a motorsport-inspired so-called “D-steering wheel”, a black headliner, a perforated leather-wrapped gear knob and a seat in a special GT-Line design.
